At MR Auto Group, keeping you confident in your purchase comes first. Every engine and piece of equipment we offer is supported by a dependable warranty, so you can count on lasting performance and genuine peace of mind.

1. What the Warranty Covers (by Product)

The length and scope of coverage vary according to the type of product and its condition:

A. Car Engines & Crate Engines

• New engines: 1–5 years or up to 100,000 miles under the manufacturer’s warranty.
• Remanufactured engines: a limited warranty running 12 to 36 months.
• Used engines: a limited 30 to 90-day warranty, depending on the unit’s condition.

B. Outboard Motors

• New motors: a 3 to 5-year manufacturer’s warranty.
• Reconditioned units: a limited warranty of 90 days up to 1 year.

C. Welding Machines

• New units: a 1 to 3-year manufacturer’s warranty.
• Refurbished units: a 6-month limited warranty.

2. Included Under Warranty

• Defects in manufacturing.
• Failures of mechanical and internal components.
• Core parts such as pistons, cylinder heads, crankshafts, oil pumps, and similar components.
• Electrical parts on welding machines, where specified.

3. Not Included Under Warranty

• Damage caused by incorrect installation or by the user.
• Unauthorized modifications, or use in racing or commercial settings that weren’t disclosed.
• Overheating, running low on oil, or neglecting fluids.
• Cosmetic or surface-level damage.
• Knock-on costs such as towing, labor, or downtime.

Please note: the warranty is voided if a product is taken apart, altered, or installed improperly.

4. Activating Your Warranty

Once your order is placed and completed, we register the item with the manufacturer and secure the warranty certification before it ships out. To keep your coverage valid, please hold on to your invoice and shipping confirmation, and supply any documentation we request if you ever file a claim.

6. Note on Labor

Charges for installation, diagnostics, or labor are not covered by the warranty unless we state otherwise. We strongly encourage having your product installed by an ASE-certified or otherwise authorized technician.

7. Warranty vs. Returns

8. Legal Notice

This warranty grants you specific legal rights, which may differ from state to state. MR Auto Group is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages beyond what is described above.
